ABOUT THE INITIATIVE

The LadderUp Initiative prioritizes individuals transitioning from workforce participation to sustainable entrepreneurship, particularly those with demonstrated public service, workforce contribution, or reintegration needs. We support capable and mission-driven people who face structural barriers to business ownership, including:

• Veterans
• Retired or volunteer first responders (firefighters, EMTs, law enforcement)
• Health and human service professionals (including social workers, therapists, and caregivers)
• Special security and protective service professionals
• Individuals pursuing economic reintegration (second-chance citizens in recovery or reentry)
• New citizens seeking lawful and compliant business ownership in the United States

We especially welcome referrals from government agencies, workforce development boards, veterans services, and reentry programs.

The LadderUp Initiative supports qualified participants in their transition from workforce participation to sustainable entrepreneurship through structured, accountable programming. We deliver:

• Business Education & Workforce Development — Targeted training and workshops that build entrepreneurial skills, financial literacy, operations management, and regulatory knowledge for skilled trades, new ventures, and side hustles.
• Compliant Business Formation Guidance — Step-by-step support for legal structure selection, registration, and foundational setup.
• Regulatory & Compliance Education — Clear instruction on licensing, tax requirements, operational standards, and ongoing legal obligations.
• Access to Funding Pathways — Assistance navigating grants, public programs, and partner resources while maintaining strict compliance.
• Sustainable Launch Preparation — Milestone-based readiness support and time-limited stabilization services (via approved vendors) to establish durable, compliant businesses.

The LadderUp Initiative is currently in the final pre-launch phase, completing governance structures, technology systems, and institutional partnerships.

We will soon announce our formal launch, including detailed program curriculum, business education and workforce development pathways, milestone-based enrollment processes, and structured referral partnerships with government agencies, workforce boards, veterans services, and reentry organizations.
